Aftermarket Deck Memory Wiring Question
I am installing a aftermarket CD Player in my 1994 E320. I'm using a harness adapter so I do not have to cut any wires. I hooked up all of the wires and everything works good except the FM presets are not saved and it does not automatically come on when I start the car (I have to press the ON button)
It makes me think the constant power wire is not hooked up but I can't find a wire that will work. Any suggestions? Thanks, Don

the yelllow wire ont he aftermarket unit should be hooked up to constant power, and the red wire should be hooked up to the accessory wire.
I ran my own seperate fused line in my car from the battery to the radio for the memory wire, not because I couldn;t find it, but because I wanted to. I am not using a harness adapter, I simply wired directly in, but my car had an aftermarket system before. Sounds to me like the memory wire is not hooked up. Alon
