98 ml320 bose system- door panel buzzing

How can I stop the buzzing that comes from the storage compartment area in the front door panels? They buzz from the bass notes even when the compartments are empty? Bass is set at +4, no higher. Thanks.

You might want to investigate whether the speaker is actually defective in some way. Sometimes the voice coil of the speaker is causing the buzzing itself. Obviously if you remove the speaker and it stops buzzing it is not the speaker. If it is actually the door panel buzzing you might want to line the inside of the door panel with Dynamat to deaden the plastic from the that annoying buzz. Dynamat is available at most car stereo retail outlets or online.
