Does a stiffening capacitor help suppress noise?
I understand that caps will help keep a more constant voltage from the power source, but towards that end, if the power source is noisy, will the capacitor help to dampen the noise?
Thanks

Stiffening caps are usually only to bolster voltage drops when an amp hits hard and drags down the voltage in the car. They are usually only used when an alternator is not up to the task.
