Anyone do an antenna replacement on a mid 90's Benz? I'm thinking about going to a fixed mount. Any thoughts?

Our local independent MB shop had a new mast in stock, so I went ahead and bought it and replaced it last night. Easy installation.

FYI for anyone who cares, these antenna's have a lot of "stuff" in the mast that not just for radio, but it does handle the radio signal.
