Reprogramming SL500 Radio
Replaced battery in my 97 - SL500 and cannot get the radio to reprogram. When radio is turned on the word "CODE" appears. I enter the 5 digit code and push the "SC" button and the word "WAIT" shows. Ignition is not left on for more than 30 minutes at a time and "WAIT" still shows. After four or five times doing this "CODE" appears again with the "C" flashing. I enter the code, push "SC' and the process starts all over again. What am I doing wrong?
