Can anyone here tell how to remove my original MB radio from a 1991 126 body style?

Also, how can I remove the ash tray (I want to lube the tracks)?

Open the ashtray. Take out thr thing that you use for cigs ( Don't smoke, so don't kno wut it's called) and unscrew the screws on the bottom (2) Make sure they don't fall into the abyss. Then just pull it out and unplug the 2 connectors. After that, you will se two metal things on the side 1 left, one right. Pull those down and slide radio out

once u take those 2 screws out and u have the metal tray part out (i use it for change) u should be able to just pull the entire tray out rails and all.
