Whats up,
I have imported a CL600 from Germany this past December. The european model has a built in TV tuner and a TV button (enabling watching broadcast TV on a built in 5" LCD screen) on comand console along with a Navi CD Tape and Radio buttons. Unfortunately my TV tuner is only in PAL/SECAM and the list of available countries includes everything from Australia to Saudi Arabia, but not United States.
The problem is that my local MB dealer has never seen this TV option and has no idea. I need to install an NTSC (I guess), US standart TV tuner. Also my system has two AV connections (AV-1 and AV-2), so I would like to wire a DVD player into AV-1. I asked a guy who owns a performance, audio/alarm shop in NY, but he says he needs a diagram of the whole system in order to install this. I could try to get a diagram from Europe and yet I am not sure if I should trust this guy with taking apart this pretty sensitive system, even though he works on Porsches and Benzes and he owns a 2000 S500 (he has a DVD system but its wired to a different screen and not to the Navi screen).

I would appreciate any comments in regard to this matter. Basically, I am not sure how to go about this, maybe some of you know a nice shop that can help and be trusted at a resonable price.

There is no US TV tuner for that unit, but the video input will work with a cable we recently found.
