What's the easiest way to route a CD changer control cable from the trunk of a 91 300SE to the cabin, preferably on the right side where there tuner unit is. It might be obvious when I remove the trunk liner panels, but I'd appreciate the notes of someone who's done this before. Oh, the cable that has a slightly-larger-than-RCA connector on it.

From inside the trunk, look at the sheet metal above the fuel tank. There is a buldge where the trunk lid springs stow. There is clearance there to pass them under the rear deck surface. Remove your rear seat to gain access to them as they pass forward. Be careful when putting your rear seat back in that you don't pinch the wire.
