My 1995 E320 started having issues with the radio recently. Here is what is going on.

Sometimes when I start the car the radio lights up but the antenna does not go up and there is no sound through any of the speakers. If I press the radio power button the radio turns off completely and the dome light comes on and the seatbelt warning lights by the dome flashes for about 10 seconds. If I press the radio power button a second time, the radio seems to turn on meaning I can see a station, select other stations, etc... but the antenna does not go up and there is no sound from the speakers and, you guessed it, the dome light comes on again and the seat belt lights by the dome light flashes for about 10 seconds.

This happened several days ago after a good rain and mysteriously fixed itself the next day. It happened again yesterday and it hasn't worked since.

any thoughts from this august group of radio thinkers?
