I have a '99 E430 that has always had bad radio reception. I am thinking about buying a Pyle Radio with HD AM/FM and BlueTooth for the phone and I would like to know if anyone has ever just bypassed the amp or, if I can get the antenna amp to work, if I need more than just 12vDC on one pin to make the amp work. I read somewhere else that there is a 25pin connector on the amp and I am concerned it goes to the head unit thereby making stereo changes impossible. (Typical German uber engineering if that is the case.) Anybody want a Mercedes phone?
