stereo fade right/left 1984 becker grand prix

I searched but can't find. Is it possible to fade the stereo speakers all the way left or all the way right in the Becker Grand Prix radio? I have one
in my 84 300SD. The front/back speaker fade works from the dial in the
center console but apparently there is no left right control. The manual doesn't seem to indicate either way if left/right fade is possible.
Some older books on tape require this feature to listen to them, since they have two tracks recorded on the same tape. With the balance even, you hear both tracks at once.
I am guessing I already know this answer but thought I would try.

The radio and cassette work great otherwise.
