I have a 380SL Mercedes with a Becker Gran Prix Radio and Tape Player. Please advise me on removing the radio so that I may send it to Becker for repair. Thank you for your assistance. Bob

I think that if you take out your ashtray you can access the bottom of the radio to push it out from there.

380SL-107Chassis.
Remove ash tray-2 screws
Remove ACC wood panel-pulls down and out after the ashtray is removed.
Remove glove box liner- Gray push clips.
Remove support screw at the rear of the radio-it is a rubber cover screw(black)
Pull clips at bottom of radio downward and slide the radio out of the dash.
Good Luck and have fun.
