I've got a 190 E 1993 2.3, the problem I have with my radio is:

1) when I turn the key off, sporadically, an alarm
beeps continuously (matching the flashing of the red LED light on the radio volume knob itself) and remains on until I turn the key back on. Can't figure that one out for the life of me.

2) I recently had it in the shop for door and window body repair, since I got it back and entered my security code to activate the radio, the power comes on and all functions operate properly EXCEPT there is no sound (severely muted, sounds like amplifier might be blown or something). Ever seen something like this? If so, what did you do?

fixed my problem!! just fuse burn out... replaced it and working fine now.
