IF your car has a factory cell phone, then it can send the antenna UP as well as the radio. There is an off switch on the phone.

Why won't antenna stay down?
The antenna in my '95 S420 goes up whenever the ignition is on even if the radio is off. What can I do to make it only work when the radio is on? I don't see any switch in the dash like older models had.

There is a phone jack in the center console for a phone. What wires can I connect to simulate a phone being off?
