92 mercedes 300d radio wiring

So I plan on swapping to a modern single din head unit on the new to me mercedes. The current radio is slow to turn on and occasionally turns off, i also notice my antenna stays down. Is there a seperate antenna switch somewhere. With the quaility of the reception I'm guessing a connection is broken somewhere. Also is there a specific wiring harness for this car or will i need to cut into the factory harness? If so, i'm looking for the pinouts.

It's a becker 1432 if you didn't know that already. Start there to find that it's a fairly complicated system. If there is an easy way to plug and play a new head unit into the system I couldn't find it.

I just went through this on my 92. New 4X45w head pushing the dash speakers and the door speakers through new speaker Wire from the head. New 300 W amp in the trunk pushing the two new 5 1/2 inch speakers in the back. New Cheapo surface mount antenna from Amazon stuck to the outside of the windshield

Works well. I'm happy.
