E class CD swap?
I have a 1995 E420 with a CD player in the trunk (Alpine)
and I have a 1999 E320, with a CD player in the trunk. Ideally, both should be fixed. But for now, the '95 E420 is my daily driver. Are the CD players exchangeable between the two cars? If I get one CD player fixed, which should it be? I'm thinking of working with the repair shop in Saddle Brook, NJ Or - what if formation is needed from each CD player, that I may compare so some 'compatibility' site? Thank you much

I believe that the '99 will be the optical interface so would not be compatible with the '95.
It is probably cheaper to pick a couple up at a U-pick wrecker than having your units repaired. CD players are cheap now that they are not as popular. I don't think that I have paid over $20 for spares for my cars. |
