Request: Picture of radio removal keys for 1990 500sl
I'd like to remove the becker radio from my 1990 500sl, but I don't have the radio keys. Can someone post a picture of them? This way I can make a pair. Is it possible to buy a pair?

I don't have a picture of the tools, but you may find the following more useful.
I looked into purchasing the tools from the dealer in Atlanta last year. There were none in stock and they were very expensive. I took my car to a friend to see what he could do. He managed to get the radio out with just a thin piece of metal. Since then, I have removed it several times by using an old credit card with a notch cut in it. I reach behind the locking tab with the card and pull forward. I took a picture of the radio opening with the unit removed. If you look below, I think you will get the idea of what implement and technique to use. Naturally, there is a locking tab on the other side of the radio chassis that is not shown in the picture. I come around from behindI grab the radio through the cassette opening to pull it out. I release one side and then do the other before removing completely. Thanks for the picture. The credit card sounds like a great idea.
