Need help with 87 560SEC wiring

I just bought my 560SEC and it came without a radio. I went to install my new CDMP3 Receiver but have a few questions about the wiring. The wires are as follows (and I've attached a picture)

1st bundle
1. The red w/white stripe wire is to the battery
2. Gray w/red is ACC wire
3. Black w/gray is ground
4. What is the brown?

2nd Bundle - these are speaker wires - they appear to be hooked into the fader on the console.
1. Red/black and black attached to 2 pronged white male connector - not connected to anything
2. Black/green and black attached to 2 pronged black male connector not connected to anything
3. White/Black and black attached to female connector attached to male 2 pronged connector with green/black and black wires (not from 2 above)
4. Yellow and black attached to female connector attached to male 2 pronged connector with brown and red and brown wires (not from 2 above).

3rd Bundle - connected into a black fitting #306 177 277 (I believe it ia a 5 pin femal connector)
Brown and Brown w/blue wires into fitting, brown and blue wire coming from connector with a black connector.

Black antenna wire with antenna connection.

Black wire with metal female wire connector (is this the automatic antenna wire?

What wires lead to the fader and what wires lead to the speakers?

Should I bypass the fader and just use the receiver's faders?

What is the 3rd bundle?

If anyone has a wiring diagram for the radio setup I'd appreciate it. I haven't received my chassis/electrical manuals yet.

The wiring is as follows:

pin 1 brown is - ground

pin 2 Black/Gray + acc power hook to red on new radio

pin 3 Gray/Violet + Illumination

pin 4 Red/White + battery constant power hook to yellow on new radio

Power antenna trigger is the 1/4 in female spade connector with blue wire under the 1/8 in vinyl sheath.

To wire past fader control 1st use the two male two conductor connectors that were plugged into the stock radio and hook these up to the rear outputs of the new radio then get to the fader control and cut off the black/green wire and the brown/redwire and hook them together. Then cut the black/red and the gray/brown and hook them together and you will be done with the rear then unplug the other two/ two conductor connectors behind the radio and hook the front outputs off the new radio to the male connectors (remember the male two conductor connectors are marked right and left. Or red is left and green is right. I also recommend you run a 12 to 14 guage power wire directly to the car battery with a fuse at the battery foor the the constant power as the stock wire is undersized for the new stuff.

Good luck! Scott@lajollaaudio

Many thanks again Scott. Worked exactly as you stated. The automatic antenna doesn't want to work (I can still use the switch on the dash) but I'll go back and check the connection tonight.

dashboard lights not working

i need help with w126 (89 300se) audio wiring.

I looked at this post, printed it and went to put an aftermarket stereo in my car. I just recently purchased the car and it didnt have any stereo in it but the car has been rewiried for aftermarket.

Ok so this is the isssues/problems i am having

1st bundle
the red/white stripe wire is always HOT - found it and it has power, connected yellow from stereo to it
gray w/red is acc wire - thats where stereo red wire has to connect but my car has gray w/ blue (not gray with red) and it has no power with the ignition to acc or at start even. connecting red stereo wire to 'alway hot' wire and my stereo turns on ( i have no issues with connecting my stereo that way but dont want to drain battery if i leave cd playing in the car)
black w/gray and brown are both grounds (connected them both together and to my black stereo wire)

2nd bundle in my car has 4 wires, (red, yellow, blue and white)
what are the wires for? speaker wires perhaps??

As far as my speakers go, pervious owner run wires from speakers to the head stereo, I reused his wiring but i am not getting any sound, hiss or cracking in the speakers. faulty wires??? do speakers have fues in them that are blown??? i didnt test the speakers nor the wires yet.

3rd bundle connected into a black fitting 306 177 277 (female connections)
wires in that bundles were cut and two brown wires has been connected to each other, not sure why?
the connector has brown and brown w/blue and also green wire. what are these wires. one of the brown wires connectes to this other connector with black wire and that connector connets to the ashtray light and cigarette lighter. lighter doesnt work so i wonder about this ACC Power Wire. could be unplugged somewhere else. or is it unplugged by the box in the possenger floor.

The little black box under passenger floormat has been messed with also. i know it is also an alarm and the alarm turns on. to turn off my alarm i have touch the two brown wires from that female connector (those wires were connected together by previous owner)

I spent 4 hours just figuring out what is what and where everything goes. i searched this and other mb forums and found a lot of helpful hints

so the big problem i am having is ACC Switched power wire (its different color stripe then the one mentioned in original post and it gets no ower with the key in the ON Position.?
should i reconnect two brown wires in the 5pin connector so the alarm turns off (it turns off when i short them) or should i leave it as it is supposed to be??
what are this other bundle with red, yellow, blue and white wires?

I would also like to know the wire color codes for the pin that goes into that box under passenger mat so i could rewire it back to original.

any help would be greatly approciated.

ps. installing stereo in my honda was way easier. all i did was to get a harness that rewires honda connector to sony connectors.

On the top of it all my night lights, dashboard, transmission, powerwindows and whatever else should light up with the lights are on, doesnt

Also i am going to return my SONY CD player (i think i fried it) and exchange it for something german

here is the pic of your harness.... The grey black in 89/126 is the acc power for the radio and the grey bue is the illumination power. The red yellow white and blue are the preamp lines that first go to the fader control and then to the stock amplifiers when the stock amplifiers are still wired up, but since they have been wired past there is no need to use there wires. As far as the alarm wires it is best to just leave them disconnected..... brown / blue, green etc...I don't have an alarm diagram at this time...

Scott

thanks, gonna go look at it right now. i dont see the picture though. its not here.
btw i burnt my stereo and went and got a new one, pioneer deh-p3700mp

http://focuscamera.com/sc/froogle-lead-1.asp?id=964597157&rf=froogle&dfdate=06_10_2005&sid=45303098

i paid $150 for it. but no hassle with shipping (if i burn this one too)

Ok
I just installed my stereo. I have used wires that run from my speakers to the head unit. Everything works fine but I dont get ACC Switch power from gray/black wire. I had to run my stereo power of white/red (always on) wire and it works good
I am assuming there is a fuse for acc power wire and its blown.

I replaced fuses and still no dashboard lights nor Switched Power gets any power with the ignition to ON position.
