Dumb W124 Question

Dude? Where is my amp?

92 w124 w/door subs

After doing some research I think my amp may be going south (speakers intermitently fire, some static like noise at times, sometimes all seem to work just fine).

What's a good amp?

How much should it cost?

Easy DIY?
