Radio Problems

Hi all,

My CDi 320 (2000) has developed a problem with the radio, (Blaupunkt TravelPilot). The performance has always been very acceptable util recently, when the reception has become dreadful. The radio spends most of its time seeking for a better reception - and I assume that this means that the signal level at the antenna has radically dropped. This normally would imply to me that the antenna is not functioning or has come adrift. However, there is no good reason that i can think of why this should have changed. Also I am not at all familiar with the radio wiring in this car and I have only just realised that the antenna is somehow connected to the Windscreen!

Has anyone got any experience of this problem and any advice of how to sort it - It's terrible to be on long drives without the radio!! although the CD does work as normal.

Many thanks for your help!

Martin
