Cheap AMFMCDCassette single DIN?

with new models coming out almost every few weeks like computers, where can one find a good deal for the unused unopened yesterday 's new design AM/FM Cassette/CD combo preferably in a single DIN slot ie that can be fitted in the old MB hole in the dash?
I checked ctutchfield's and the single Din Sanyo AM/FM/CD/CASS is 260-280$!!!!!!!!!,that is 1/20 the car 's value!!!!!excluding installation

You can find great bargains on e-bay too. Just be sure you know what you want. I've seen "last years" stuff NEW discounted more than 50% from original Crutchfield prices. However, I find changing out a system to be such a PITA that I'd recommend buying quality ( feature laden ) up front and then enjoy it for years to come. You've got a great ride, why skimp on the tunes? After market car audio is a lot of hype. A good system today will be a good system for a long long time.

Amen to that...I've been looking for a decent head unit for a while now, and am having difficulty picking one 'cause the new ones are so fancy and have so many useless features (motorized screens, endless colors, etc) that I just plain don't want.

Are you certain that the AM/FM/CD/tape player will fit in your car? According to both Crutchfield and Best Buy, both of the single-DIN combo units like that won't fit in a 123...I think the radio's too deep or somethin'. I wanted to buy one of those...but half of my tapes are now ruined, so I'm probably going to get an AM/FM/CD/MP3...

Just my $.02...good luck!
