I have a 1982 300SD. The car came with an el-cheapo $29.00 Hirschmann replacement antenna that doesn't even fit the hole in the body correctly, leaks water into the trunk, and does not function. I found two OEM Hirschmann antennas, part number 126 820 03 75. One is serial number 38 3 04, and the other's serial number is 02 4 05.
As stated above, the previous owner replaced the OEM with a cheap replacement. The original wiring connector on the car was left intact. However, the two replacements I bought were made for a different size connector, and oriented differently than that on my car.
Anyway, does anybody know which car wire goes to which antenna prong from the 1982 126 car to either of these two antennas?
