Gentlemen:

I just picked up another SD,1982, couldn't help it. Rebuilt motor, trans. etc.

She runs great and answers my diesel obsession after giving the 87 300D to the 16 year old.

The orig. Becker unit has only one functioning speaker, front driver's. Fader to rear, nothing. I'm admittedly not a radio whiz, is there an easy look or fix. I feel if I have to pay someone, I should buy a cheaper CD player at Circuit City or somewhere and just do the system

mine didn't work when I bought mine, so I just got a new cd player & new speakers, I did get a middle of the line kenwood that plays mp3 & window media files so I can get alot more music on a cd. the silver faceplate & trim ring look good against the wood trim.
