Installing Sirius Satellite Radio: Need advice

Along with my cruise control amp swap, I'll be installing Sirius Satellite radio in my car on Saturday. I've already got the antenna mounted on the trunk lid (where the old mobile phone antenna resided) but was wondering if anyone on this board has suggestions for getting the antenna cable (it's a very thin cable) into the passenger compartment from the trunk. My eventual destination is the center console.

I'd imagine there must be some wires running that way from the old mobile phone installation but would ask if anyone here has details on how those things were hooked up. And while we're on the subject: anyone ever remove one of the old mobile phone "brains", the ones mounted in the trunk? I can't - for the life of me - figured out how that thing is attached to the trunk wall.
