Question what wax do you use?

It's time for wax wars again
. Tell what wax or system you use and why. I don't beleive we will have a winner. to steel a Quote from Larry B> Wax hot wax a lot well thats not what Larry says but you get the idea, if you know about oil changes and Larrys great advice.

I'm currently using the following three step on the 500E:
- Meguiars Dual Action Cleaner Polish
- Einzett 1Z Paint Polish
- Meguiars NXT Tech Wax

I'm currently using the following on the Honda CRV:
- Zaino Z1
- Zaino Z2

I recently won a bucket of Mothers products including polishes, glazes waxes and nearly every other product they offer. I'm going to eventually try these products and see how they compare to what I'm currently using.

I have been a longtime believer in 3M Hand Glaze and Wax. Easy to apply and works extremely well with a buffer. I have a bottle of Griots Best of Show which I dont think last quite as long, I think its more for cars that are driven less frequently, did work well on a Ferrari 360 I did though so could have something to do with paint manufactures too.

Meguiars California Gold, plain carnauba wax. It's the best as far as I'm concerned, but then the only car I have that takes a decent shine is the Volvo (dead black), and who wants to try to keep a black car perfect? You can see a fingerprint on that thing a block away.... The others all have paint defects that prevent a really nice finish anyway (mostly crap repaint jobs, not mine!). A bit of shine and water repelling action are what I'm after.

Carnauba wax has always worked for me, not bad to apply, lasts quite well, and isn't a synthetic product.
