Meguiars ScratchX has such warning: Do not apply on trim . .
What does it do on rubber and plastic?
Does it leave hard to remove powdery residue on tiny crevices like some waxes?
Does it scratch and damage rubber or plastic trim?

I saw such warning on some waxes (Meguiars #16, NuFinish, . . . ), but I do not remember seeing such warning on paint cleaners such as TurtleWax White Polishing Compound, Mothers Pre-Wax Cleaner, Meguiars Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner, . . .
