You allow beverages to be consumed in your car, Frank?! There's no eating or drinking in my car! I never even noticed it didn't have cup holder. . .

I bought a seventy dollar deal from performance products that fits into the center console of my 88 124. It opens up like a book and has two cup holders. It is a little cumbersome to get open, but it holds drinks okay, you just can't use the armrest at the same time. The hassle to it is closing it, though. You have to hold the spring loaded thingies to get the lids to close. I'm not sure if I would get it if I had it to do again. There has to be a better solution. If you see one for 124s, let me know.
I think my 3 year old would quit the family if he didn't get to eat and drink and throw crumbs around the car.
