Map pocket

Maybe the Russian VIN site is wrong, and the donor car didn't have a 134 interior.

I'm about to just start calling it creamomino

I just looked at the interior of your wagon, and for sure, it looks to have a lot more red in it than my interior does. Your mismatched door pocket is visible, and I agree that it looks more like a match for my car. (When you finally find a Palomino door pocket, you now know who to sell your mis-matched one to!)
Hey I finally found a good matching map pocket. If you want my old one, let me know. It is broken though...broken where most are, at the clip towards the top front of the pocket where it clips through the door panel and onto the door itself. PO or a mechanic broke it trying to get the panel off...

No charge other than shipping.

Sounds workable. (I think I can repair the clip you're speaking of, but have yet to try it.) Let me take a peek at my donor car first, to see if it has one in the correct colour. I'll do my best to let you know quickly, but things have been hectic on the home front, so it might take me a couple of days.

The Russian site listed the interior for my car as 154 Java, but the original invoice from MB only lists interior code 154,and it is a Palomino from all the examples I have seen. I wouldn't rely on the Russian site as being to correct.

I am having the same headache KAdams. I am now leaning towards the color identified as "wheat" on the GAHH website (see interiors for 1972-1980, color 719.

Though when I blow it up to full screen it looks a bit darker than mine. I replaced my driver map pocket and "C"-pillars with palamino ones and it is definitely a little different.

I need to replace my driver seat cushion cover, and that led me to this thread....

Tell me if you think wheat is a better match for color code 134.

I don't think you'll be able to get a good idea of a color from a computer monitor....too much variance. Best bet is to see the piece in person, or at least find a same year donor car with the same color code as yours. If not, be prepared to buy things sight unseen, and possibly needing to resell on the Internet...

Not for code 134 - it is "unknown"

EDIT: Looking at the link in the OP, it is clear that the color I am looking for is Date (dattel in Deutch)

Not available from GAHH, but shown here:

http://www.mercedesinterior.co.uk/page6.htm

1107 - closest to creme, I think....

Edit Edit:
This site is great:
http://mb123.motovanker.com/sisu_eng.php

Asked dealer about replacing the seat cushion cover in date -- $450 or so each

134 is definitely dattel or "date" - I confirmed this through my dealer who looked up the cost and availability of my seat cover based on my vin.

I have also obtained a swatch from word upholstery in thier color 134 - they call palamino and it is a perfect match.

Yep, dattel is date... Literally... That's the translation.

Good to know about World Upholstery. I can't recall if I picked up a sample from them or not. I only remember not seeing anything from Gahh that was a good match.
