I just got a car that has the remains of window tint on the rear door windows and some more on the rear window that has a defogger with wires embedded on the inside of it and a third brake light.

How can I get the rest of the tint off? It looks like it was probably a DIY install that went badly wrong ...

Don't want to wreck the defog wires on the inside glass in the process either?

Straight razor for the inside windows maybe, bu what about behind the 3rd brake light that I dont want to remove to get at the remains of tint behind it?
