W123 under dash panels/cladding.

The video pretty much says it all.

Been working on Painted Desert Panther's '78 300CD. It's been a non-stop carnival of fun. Poor old neglected beast, but it's getting there.

Got tired of looking at the nasty arsed, bare under dash area. He rounded up some replacement parts and we decided to upgrade it a bit.

The old panels. Obviously not the originals. The use of the Coca Cola aluminum and hot glue to patch the old was classic, pun intended. Removed the crap, glassed it in and sanded smooth.

Covered, glued and clamped. The switch is for control on a set of additional door lamps we installed. They are independent of the map/dome light so we needed to be able to turn them off when not needed. SUPER handy for those of us out here in rattle snake/ varmint country! They throw an amazing amount of light where you need it and not that puny arsed overhead lighting the coupe has.

In place. Had to use a plastic push rivet because the clips were broken off the original plastic panel. There was a hole already in the dash almost as though it was planned for it. All I had was a black one so if it bothers him enough we can always find a gray/blue one to replace it. We could always dye the carpeting if he feels the need.

Much nicer than the cheap black plastic of the original. Might not even change the color as he has a gray Dash Mat.

Did the rear deck and the boot bulk head while we were at it.

On to the passenger side. Now THIS was a jigsaw puzzle! Bunch of broken bits, missing clips and just basically should have sourced an different one. But, it was there, I was there and I had the time.

Haven't installed it yet because we are still working out a few issues with the ACC version one system.

Boot bulkhead. Can't find the ones of the deck. Too damned many files!
