I can't find the name of that part/those parts....the above is merely a shot in the dark...

So LHD 190d 2.0 euro version, 1984.

The false floor on drivers side has been cracked to bits, and the foot rest thing on the left is also broken. Given the 1970s coins I found down there, I guess one of the owners was a tad heavy and put his or her foot through it. Seat springs are noisy too.

Not sure what you mean with the false floor, but Detailing and Interior is pretty much dead. You have more luck posting in the Tech Help section you find on the top of the home page. Good luck.
