Illuminated Door Sills Installion Questions Help...

I got a set of 4 aftermarket illuminated door sills for my w202 c280. There are some wires that need to be connected in order for em to light up. That i need tips too. Also the original ones sit pretty firm so how do i take em off without damaging em? It would be great for those who already have em installed on ur cars to share the process on how its done with me Thx!

The illuminated door sills fit over the top of the existing ones, which you have to drill. The illuminating section is wired into the door contact switch. More than that I do not know. Try private messaging David C Klasse, he has them on his c280 (although I recall he had them installed at an outfit called Circuit City). There have been lots posts about illuminated door sills in the Tech Help and Open Discussion forums; try a search using "illuminated".

The best and cheapest place is straight from Germany.

You can also buy them on E-bay, but usually for about $210.
