What's best deal on Floor Mats for 123?
Am looking for a set of floor mats for a 300D, just want to protect the under carpet and not spend a mercedes amount of $'s.
Can't do ebay, the guy who sells those there is a thief. Anyone have a good custom mat place they recommend? Anyone have a used set of black floor mats?

For my W201, the black rubber floor mats at the dealership weren't all that expensive as I recall, like $60 or so for the front and rear mats.

If you want a custom fit, go with MB mats. Look at any catalog for custom fitted mats, with embroidery and it will cost you 2/3 to twice what it will cost at a dealer. I got MB mats for my '83 TD for $84. These are the new style with the MB Star in the corner of the front mats. I once priced OEM mats for a Ford Taurus and the dealer wanted $75, but there was a catch. I asked for a 1993 Taurus (this was last year that I asked) and was told that I could only go back to 1996. He said they stopped using that style of mat (1993) and it was no longer available. The W123 chassis has been around since 1975, and you can still get OEM, perfect color matched mats. If you are going to price mats, make sure you compare based at an equal level. By that I mean, custom fit, exact matching color, an embroided heel pad and company logo. If you can get all that from another source for less than $84, then definetly go for it, but don't hold your breath.
