Thanks. Sorry to have troubled you, appreciate the effort. I can't get a hit on this code at Duplicolor or autozone, at least on-line. It may be US only, so next trip to Maine I'll check it out.

Thanks for the tip TX76513. My bumper has some nicks and scratched corners where the yellow primer is showing. Do you think it will look ok to just prime and paint those areas or the whole bumper? Does it matter what primer is used? How long to wait between the primer and paint coat? As you can tell, I have not done this before.

I used a plastic (trim) primer/filler before I painted as I had a few areas of nicks- then went over the area with 000 steel wool. Wiped it down with alcohol and painted. The trim paint is very thin, use multiple light coats to avoid runs. It's a straight forward easy DIY

I know this is an older thread and I've got bad areas on my rear bumper, but Duplicolor T243 is no longer available. I tried several places in my area. I looked at the web site and the following are available:

FB 105 Black
FB 106 Gray
FB 107 Tan (definitely out)
FB 108 Medium Silver
FB 109 Dark Charcoal

I'll try the gray and see what it's like. I've also got a bad spray touch up area on my lower front ricker panel.

I wonder how the car would look with black surrounds, it's DB 199M, Black Pearl Metalic, or even dark charcoal?

If you are handy with Photo-shop or similar programs you can probably try those combinations by importing a pic of your car.

I'm going to the dealer in the morning for some parts. There is a DIY session at American Service Center in Arlington Va. on July 10 sponsored by the local club. I'll ask about the paint for the body covers and see what they say.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I did find a can of 'bumper' paint, called 'gray bumper', #CFB106. On the website, they list a bumper GREY #DUPFB106. It looks close, but can you confirm that this is the correct color?
I posted this awhile back. Last night I sprayed some sections of my grey flexible trim on my '85 380SE with the Duplicolor 'gray bumper' mentioned. It's close, but a bit on the 'silvery' side. The match isn't bad, but certainly not perfect.
Has anyone tracked down this elusive 'Dupli Color T-243' yet?

It's funny this post came up as I was in Autozone this weekend and looked to see if was still available (after all the post) and yes it was still there - MS must have all the old stock . I know that it's not listed on the duplicolor web site.

Isn't Silver the favorite paint of "huffers"

I bought some Duplicolor FB 105, I think, black bumper paint. It's black alright. I sprayed some cardboard and looked at it against the bumpers and side panels. The side panels are a grayish-black so I'm going to try one small side panel. The bumper covers are a light gray due to baking in the hazy, hot and humid Washington D.C. summers.

Another option is the get some paint mixed and get them spray painted at the same place that did the body work on my car.
