These things are all over Sydney and Melbourne...SWMBO thought I was just having another 'Mercedes Moment™' when I told her they were a Benz AND a diesel.

I couldn't imagine being in a wreck in that thing. I wonder if they do anything special to that car to make it withstand a collision with an SUV or large car?

I think the purchase price includes complete funeral/burrial arrangements.


Seriously though, it looks like a city car, not something you'd want to try and take out on the highway. In a 10-20 mph collision it probably just springs back into shape.

That reminds me of an old Saturday Night Live skit featuring this car called the "Adobe" that was made out of clay. After you hit someone you just got out and molded the clay back into shape. It's slogan was "German engineering with Mexican know how." It was absolutely hilarious.
