Georgia used to be a no-fault state. I hate that they dropped that requirement. It use to be that the only insurance company you dealt with was your own. This was great as they work in your favor and collect from the other insurance company. In fact, most times you never even had to talk with the other insurance company. In my opinion, dropping the no-fault requirement is one of the worst things GA ever did. They claimed they did it to reduce insurance cost, but insurance never went down.


Anyway, sorry to hear about your misfortune and hope that everything works out alright.
