Wher do you get NPT standard to Metric adapters?

I have searched ererywhere locally for a metric to npt adapter so I can install an aftermarket temp. gage in the stock port.

I have gotten a lot of dumb looks and that's about it. Even looked on Mcmaster carr to no avail.

Do they even exist?

Thanks,
Stephen

adapters

Fittings, Inc. in Seattle, WA, ph 1 800 552 4670.

However, adapting for a water temp sender can be problematic if the sender, with its adapter, is not adequately in the coolant.

VDO makes sender with metric threads; eg., stock Benz senders. I buy such items from Instrument Sales and Service, ph. 1 800 333 7976. Temp senders rarely die -- have you considered a wrecking yard.

Thanks for the replys. The only reason I am going aftermarket is that I think the problem is in the guage and not the sending unit. Dont really want to change out the guage cluster if I can help it.

Jba do you remember what the thread is for the injector line? I think I'll start gathering parts for my homemade pressure tester this week. Thanks.

Not offhand. I'll try to remember to check it tonight at home. Take care.

If I forget, don't hesitate to email me a reminder.
