Both hints he is building a feedback score by making it look like he's been selling cars.

Is the guy a crook? Not necessarily, just building feedback.

I would be carefull. I would not buy this car without looking at it.

I avoid sellers that keep things private. Because WHAT ARE THEY HIDING AND WHY?

Does anyone trust those car inspection companies advertised on the internet for eBay transactions? Has anyone used one before or can recommend one? Will they know anything about diesels?

The 190D's seems to be few and far between these days......

Did anyone ever really think this car was going to be a bargain? 2 grand for a car you can't touch and feel, then the cost of getting it across country.

Much better to buy one local you can touch, feel, comfort and caress. Use eBay to sell cars, not buy them.
