Yeah, you better start searching and printing out every possible bit of information that you may ever need because this ultimately will be morphing into an open forum and most likely be canned in <6 months.

I don't think that's what the Warden was implying....

I think he meant that Medmech might have, or be considering, a diesel vehicle.

Regardless, you make a good point about the open forum. If you take away something that there is a demand for, there will be consequences.

There will ALWAYS be some degree of off-topic discussion on message boards like this one. If the forum where such topics are SUPPOSED to be posted is taken away, it will inevitably turn up elsewhere.

I hate to be the "I told you so" guy, but.............

Mike

delete disruptive and seriously off topic scrap.
Diesel forum has good moderators, witness vanishing threads and people.

Politics do not belong on this forum.
Far too explosive and full of BS on all sides.

I couldn't agree more. I hate politics. It is such a dirty game that I won't be part of it in any way -- whether simply discussing it or getting more involved by participation. I like the way this board is so far. As stated earlier, there will always be some degree of open discussions here. But that helps make the Diesel Discussion section so well rounded it is as if we should be a completely individual forum. :p

True.....some of these guys were instigators on open forum, but they have a chance to prove themselves as contributing members and keep their politics to themselves. If they can't then they shold be gone.

Why are some people turning this into a "don't bring off topic over hear" thread? Take a deep breath MedMech was just saying hi. Last I heard he was also thinking about a diesel MB.

Some of you need to take it easy! Engatwork will keep everything in line.

From a Ferrari to a diesel MB in Michigan. I know Jeff ain't lost his mind.

I would be surprised to see him pick up a diesel Mercedes.

Precisely. Thanks for saying what I was about to say.

Some folks are so jumpy.

Yea - I surely ain't turning him away. It is good to hear from him. Heck, I've been to his house and shared wine and good food with him. Good people as far as I am concerned but he didn't come accross as a diesel benz type of fella.
