A bigger Alternator in 123 car, anyone done this?
I'm looking to put in a more powerful alternator in my 123 wagon, as anyone done this?
My alternator is about to go. I can hear the berring starting to scream, and I figured if I had to replace it, I might as well upgrade it if I can... Thanks Jason |

I suggest using the search feature on that subject
And see: "Alternator" 115 Amp Bosch AL129X works in 123s!

I'm glad you mentioned that today. My alternator is acting up again and I might need a new one. I had totally forgotten about that thread before you mentioned it.

A good auto electric shop can rebuild your alternator and rewire to substantially increase output. Might be cheaper than a new one.
