OK I have a question for you...Anyone own both a 300TD and a 300D. I own two 85s. The TD has 183K miles and the D has 164K miles. My real question is should there be a significant difference in perfomance between the two ? I have owned the TD for 3 years and love it but I just bought my 16 year old son a D and damn does that car run well. Lot more pep, less noise, less smoke, less smell......is something amiss with my wagon ? I have gone over both engine compartments pretty well no big differences, except for self leveling system etc. On the D the ALDA cover is still in place but not on the TD. What gives ? Should I kick my kid out of the D and make him drive the TD ? :p
