OLD MESSAGE: got any good side pix of your CD? maybe i can help you picture that rim on it... i'll just do a little photochopping..

I went ahead and looked for a CD image on the web.. hope that the owner doesnt mind i "borrowed" the image from the internet..

Phantom, here's how your car would look like with those rims(forgive the quality.. it was kind of made in a rush).... dont mind the fact that your disk brakes dont show under those rims.. ehehe...

Does anyone have a pic of a 240D or 300D on 8 hole alloys? The one I built on tirerack.com looks sharp, but I would like to see the real thing.

he installed those big shiny rims with the tiny tires. He's constantly bothered at stoplights by people tapping on his window, trying to score crack.

Those wheels look nice if not an inch to large. The wheels off of the E430 Sports also look nice on these.

Stock 16" CLK wheels look great on my silver TD. Silver on silver, very nice.

Personally I really dislike the bundt wheels... They just look wrong to me.. I'd rather have the steel wheels with the colored wheel covers, or a more updated 8 hole or the CLKs I have now. But, to each his own.

Those look like 17 or 18s.

I'm looking at the 15"s with something like 205/65/15 (nearer to my current sidewall height of 195/75/14).

for the one looking for a sedan with the 8holes mags (benz3 as we call it here)...here is one.. my old sedan.

18's are way to large for these cars 16's are about right. If you go to big with the older cars they look stupid.

Damn! That is hot as all hell... exactly what I want mine to look like. Now a question of opinion... well and availability. Can a W123 be lowered any (not like scraping... just maybe like an inch or so, to get rid of the wheel gap) or will it look stupid... or is this even feasable?

i wish i had kept those mags...

i think you can lower the car.. H&R provides lowering springs for our 123 if im not mistaken....

or you could try using DOT1 rubber mounts just to lower the stance of the car... but the drop would be in mm... not that much.. but still lower than a DOT4.

ey phantom, here's your coupe with the mags... the photochopping is not that polished but you get to view how it would look like..

I'd love to get a set of 15 inch bundts. I have a set of 14x6 1/2's that are like new (still have the factory paint) that I could trade plus cash. It's hard to find light but strong wheels that will hold up on these heavy cars.

I have the Volvo Intercooler and the hoses, but I would like to keep them, I'm kind of active in Volvos and Mercedes. You can find plenty of Volvo flex hoses and intercoolers at a Junkyard, where I found mine...but a Volvo intercooler isnt the best one to use--because the intake and exhaust on a Volvo are on opposite sides whereas on the Mercedes, they are on the same side...Try this link:

An intercooler from a Saab 900 should work, they seem to work great on everything
