Ok. I noticed today that when I start the car all 3 lights are illuminated (2 brake and fuel indicator). As soon as I raise the rpms, they all go off. The battery light only comes on when I shut the car off (it briefly lights as the car dies). Seems like there might be a charging issue at start-up. Should this worry me?

The only way to determine this is by connecting a DC voltmeter, starting the engine and monitoring whether it is charging like it should. It still sounds suspiciously like a loose connector behind the instrument panel or something is gone awry with the warning system module.
