How many times is this '80 300SD going to be on E-bay?

I have seen this at least 6 times......always no reserve and always sold, yet it keeps coming back like a case of Malaria.............

No offense but do you even know what malaria is? Doesn't sound like you do from that statement.

Malaria, like herpes, stays in your system one you contract it, and makes recurring appearances, causeing fevers , shakes, and other symptoms before going back into remission......

what part of that is incorrect................

Like this car, when you think its sold, it comes back, again, and again, and again.....

Not to detract from the topic of this wonderful thread, but I've had malaria, in fact, I lived for many years over several countries in which malaria is more common than the common cold/flu is here and NO, once you get it it doesn't stay in your system and doesn't have recurring appearances. Just thought I'd mention it.

malaria

I have lived in the tropics, and yes - the plasmodium parasite stays in your system, took me 3 bouts before I was rid of it.

Look up the plasmodium vector cycle in 'Kumar and Robbins' (pathology text) and you'll find that it does recur.

cheers

I have to admit to also spending too much time wandering through Ebay, especially Mercedes for sale. I watched a nice looking 500E sell at a fairly low price. Then I noticed the 3rd time it sold, it was bought by the same person who bought it the first time. "Hmmm", I said. "It seems the seller may not be above board. Maybe he gets a little help from his friends using various Ebay IDs." After that, I noticed some similar situations with other Merz that didn't sell etc. Last month I briefly heard a TV news story about how Ebay caught several sellers bidding up the price and how they would not tolerate this. From what I had heard about Ebay, I thought it might be one of the few times they side with the customer and not the seller.

I have also seen on this forum some very good reports regarding purchases of Merz on Ebay.. so if I buy anything through them I hope to take all the precautions necessary to have a good experience.
