Tortoise and the Hare
Ever feel like you're the tortoise and everyone else is the hare while putting along in your diesel? Every morning especially now when it's cold, I creep along slowly while the engine warms up. People who are stuck behind me zip around in the other lane very quickly every chance they get only to come up on a stop light or stop sign and I pull up right behind them.
It always makes me think of the cartoon where the turtle is chasing the rabbit and the rabbit always runs ahead but then stops to take a break and then comes the turtle sure and steady to pass him as he pauses. Scott
