25mph is right about the max speed for 1st gear I believe. Humm, I wonder if it might be some simple adjustment or modulator replacement. Even if it does need a new tranny, looks like a nice car thats probably worth putting the money into.

Hmm...it's even local.
I wonder if it would be worth the trouble...? The body damage and tranny issues concern me, but otherwise looks like a very nice car...might even be in my price range... |

The Warden,
Go check it out if you have time ![]() Also...how would they know if the engine was operating in such a perfect manner under "all conditions" when the car doesn't even break 25MPH? I bet its stuck is 1st gear? Someone should ask if it just revs and feels like it won't shift or it is slipping. Brandon |

I'd bet that the rear ending dislodged some algea and the filter is plugged.

Here's a question highlighting my ignorance:
Would that motor fit in my car? Sure looks the same...

Anyone take a look at the picture taken from BEHIND the right rear.........there is very clear rust by the bumper and tail light of the right rear quarter..............and they claimed no rust.
