Hello everyone,
I drove to work this morning, 1984 300SD, everything was perfect. Nice comfortable ride.
About an hour ago I decide to take a trip to Home Depot but the car had no acceleration. I was thinking, this can't be right. Then I got on the Boulevard and it was soo slow! It wouldn't go over 40mph with the acellerator pedal floored! I was thinking WTF??
I pull into the parking lot, open the hood everything was normal. All linkages in the right place. The vacuum was working fine. Had good brakes.
So I went shopping thought about it for a while. When I got back outside I opened the hood again and hit the acellerator manually. Revved up normal so I got in and drove it and it worked like nothing ever happened.
Now I'm thinking is this just a freak occurance or an omen of something bad about to break?
Very weird.
