Thumbs up 126 owners! Am I missing a bushing/grommet?

Can anyone w/ a digicam/camera phone take a pic of the throttle linkage right near the Tristar area by of the valve cover for me? Top shot as if you're looking at the motor in awe.

I have a suspicion I'm missing a bushing there as I have a bit of freeplay in my throttle linkage. That extra freeplay could not give me full throttle also I'd figure.

Thanks a bunch!

Thumbs up

I've been working on the 126 all night (I call it just the "9" if you add up the numbers of the 126 lol, I called my 123 the "6") and I'm wondering if perhaps it's not going WOT...

BUT it could also be that it hasn't been really driven since late 2003 also.

In any event, I just want to verify I do not have any troubles in my linkage.

Looks like my stuff is all there, I put about 150mi on the car today driving all over the place and it's been getting quicker! Maybe chaning those fuel filters since I got it two days ago really helped it go a lot quicker.

These cars hate setting around.
I would wager it had poor service, slow driving and parked to long.
New filters and a good hard drive followed by diesel purge should fix it.
Diesel 911 would not hurt.

The mechanics on it are in good shape, it's been sitting around since fall '03! But it's been started every so often. So driving it only helps.

I immediately changed the oil (sludge) in the crank case and added a can of Berryman Diesel Fuel Treatment. Is that similar to "Diesel 911"? Also I replaced both fuel filters. You could see some stuff in the primary small filter floating about once I pulled it off. Also changed the PS filter and fluid in the pump.

Brakes are going to be flushed this week and I'm going to service the transmission too.
