Sigh...
It's always something. I was stopping by an import autoparts place today to get an actuator for a 3/2 valve. When I went to pull into the parking lot, a guy was running towards his 300ZX which was rolling backwards! Forgot to leave it in gear or put on emergency brake. So I couldn't pull all the way into the parking lot, and WHAM!
A little old lady ran into the back of me in her '94 Taurus. I felt badly for her until she hopped out of her car and started chewing me out. Had to be in her 70's. She said I was blocking her lane. I politely told her it was mine until I was finished with it. She failed to see the humor. Bless her heart, I really felt bad for her, as it is open and shut her fault. Had 2 witnesses too: the guy chasing his car, and the parts guy at the counter. I told the guy with the ZX jokingly that he caused this, and he offered to help me out financially if I got screwed by her ins. co. Nice kid, and refreshing to hear, but I told him he wasn't "at fault", and if I get screwed then I get screwed. We've all done something like he did.
Little ladies car had a black stripe from her headlight to her taillights. Her sideview mirror busted out my tail light, and she smashed my rear bumper in. '97 F-150. Why couldn't she hit the right side, where my daughter backed it up into my ex-wifes car?
And lastly, it was a chance for my concubinal apparatis to get in her "see what happens when you are doing something for that stupid wagon" remark.
