Not a Mercedes question but I need some help here. I guess there's a few of you out there that also own VW TDI's. I was at the Portland auto show yesterday and my wife and I became very interested in the VW TDI's, enough that we may consider buying one sometime this year. They seem to have a reasonable amount of hp (100 for the 2.0 L and around 125 for the larger engine in the Passat, yes the Tuareg has a V-10 but at that price I can buy the 320CDI but I don't have that kind of money). There's a new Jetta coming out as well but we didn't see a diesel model. We liked what we saw and they seemed reasonably priced.
I'd like to know if there are any issues with these cars, are they reliable and do they hold up over the years. Also if I can be directed to a good TDI forum for more on these cars.
